Webinar: Mental Health Justice During COVID-19

Wednesday, July 15 from 2pm to 4pm (Pacific/Arizona TIme)

As the pandemic causes many disruptions in people’s daily lives such as their routines, loss of lives, and financial situations, people’s mental health are at risk. The obstacles to receiving treatment for mental health during this time will be explored. Certain groups are at a higher risk of experiencing or developing symptoms of mental health disorders during this pandemic, such as people of lower socioeconimic status, people with limited social supports and people  already living with mental illness. During this webinar, we will discuss the stressors on mental health this pandemic has caused and potential strategies that can be explored to treat and prevent a decline in mental health.
